Tuna....I'm not in your area (SC here), but I'm taking my LS460 in tomorrow for the NAV and SRX Radar installation. The reason I mention this is because I actually got referred to the place I'm going to by my local Lexus dealership. They had a guy that used to do radar installs who now works up front in the service dept (major back problems, so had to give the install part up), and he advised me who he thought would do the best job in the area for the radar and the NAV override. What you might do is just ask the manager of the service shop (or your sales person) who does their installs for things such as built in radar detectors. My dealership seemed pretty picky about who did such installs. Anyway, just a thought. I'm a little nervous about someone opening up my baby, but am anxiously waiting the install of both of these gadgets.

Will Nav Override Module have any negative effect as far as the warranty is concerned?

Negative.

(Okay, nothing is 1000% for sure, but there's no reason to think the warranty could be voided by a device that merely fools the Nav into thinking the car's stopped. It does not interact directly with the Nav unit ... it merely interrupts a signal from the VSS [vehicle speed sensor] before it gets to the Nav unit.)

I have no concern at all about the override in my car.

This was done on my vehicle. Adam at Samm Sound has done stereo work on previous vehicles for me and it's always turned out great. They installed the nav override as well as the air suspension controller from Data System. It was 4 hours of labor total for both items installed.

It's hard to see in the one picture but the nav controller is in the console tucked out of view. I like everything to be clean and stock looking on the inside and the placement of both controllers were perfect.

Thanks to Mark and Chung at Prestigious Society for dealing with all of my questions and supplying a great and reasonably priced product.
