Default Your average MPG

The reason I am asking this is because I am going to purchase an LS460(in 2-5 months) when I sell my IS350, and I want to know what LS460(either one) owners are averaging out of their daily commute. I will be driving about 30% in the city and 70% on the freeway.

Here in the frozen Midwest, I have been averaging about 17mpg the past 10 days and 25 on the Interstate. The reason I am mentioning "frozen" is because gas mileage goes down substantially in very cold weather. It has been sub-zero at times along with snow. A couple weeks ago, when it was not so cold, I was averaging about 19 in the city and 26-27 on the highway. Wind also is a big factor. It can help the gas mileage or hurt it a lot. I am pretty certain, that by March and April when the high temperatures reach at least into the 40s, 50s, and 60s, my gas mileage will improve by at least 2-3 mpg.

22.1 in mixed driving over 12,000 miles! I also live in the Pittsburgh area where we have a lot of hills. I am very pleased!

Gas mileage for my 460SWB is remarkably good (better than my old BMW 540 which was smaller and lighter).
Here in Wisconsin in the city I get at best 18MPG (warm weather, no AC). My worst in city is right now (0-ish temps & mucho snow), abt 16MPG.
On the highway MPG is great, over 29 in warm weather and steady 70 MPH.

i don't know about your sc, but the ls460l has been far superior to our gs400, is300, or the sc430 in terms of gas mileage
