Awesome deal as far as I can see, but I do not know for sure as I have not been shopping for one like a mad man like when I am trying to get the best deal! But it does sound very impressive!!!!
87k and change msrp - somebody ordered it and we grabbed it from the boat - Nothing about waiting - just have good connections. Called around the nation - there was nobody who could come close. Also did not find one with pre-c or rear seat package
If you know someone why are you calling around the nation? You should not have the second guess your "connections" Also that dealer or specifically the salesman should be reprimanded for grabbing some else's vehicle that they have waited 60-120 days for.

If the MSRP was $87,400, dealer invoice would be $74,900, so $76,900 would be a good price as long as you are in a competitve market. If you are not, then the extra $1000 you paid is not bad.

When I did my deal in NYC earlier this month, any real discounting on the LS was limited to the SWB. All the dealers were holding out for very close to MSRP for the few LWB cars that were available . Has the LWB market soften up since then? Did a boat load of LWB pull up somewhere? Or was/is the LWB supply problem limited to the NYC area?

Umm.. Why wouldnt you call around??? I mean your talkin about $85,000+ Even when I am 99% sure I am getting the best deal possible..I would call around just to be sure... It would kinda suck to find out AFTER that you could have done better.
BTW I would NEVER spend 80K on a new car anyway.... why do that when you can get a perfectly good 2005 with higher miles for 25-30K... these cars are know for great reliability... a nice used one is the best way to go...
Mine is a 94 bought with 168K miles on it... for $4700... now have 183K.. running great...As I save up more $$ I will move up eventually. BTW I am not slammin the new LS460.. It is one of the most beautifull cars I have ever seen.
