Mods on 08 LS460-wheels, lowering, etc..
my 08 LS460 is finally on the boat for delivery in about 2 weeks. I am shopping for wheels and the ways to properly lower the car a little...and to do some mods going forward to make the car sportier.
A few quesitons:
1. can i go with wider tires in the rear with LS460?
2. what's the best way to lower the car? and possibly make the handling better.
3. with 22"s, anyone have any problems? should i go 20"
4. i am in MD. Anyone around here know a shop who can be my "go-to" shop for everything?
your advices appreciated.

1) of course you can. as long as your wheels are wide enough for wider tires, go wider. i am running 295 easy
2) unfortunately, there is no lowering springs or coilovers for the swb right now. if you have lwb and air suspension, a controller is all you need. but swb, you can only do aftermarket air suspension (universal air suspension is one option). more pricey, but it does the job (installation is more too)
3) i have zero problems with 22s. it's all about fitment. to me 20s are way too small for the car, just like stock. but there are others who think 20s are enough
4) i have no idea on that

Just ask the salesman, plus you can see there is switch for 3 settings for the air suspension - comfort, normal & sport, ask the salesman to show you that in the car.
also, just as a thought, if the car has air suspension look at the sticker (since it's a new car it has to have the sticker). one line should say adaptive variable air suspension
