Default ls460 steering difference

i recently read a magazine reviewing the 2013 ls460 and they had a regular rwd one and then i think an l with air suspension, they said a standard ls feels like a regular car and only vehicles equipped with air suspension feel like a true luxury flagship, part of their reason was the steering, air suspension ls's come with vrgs and coil suspension doesnt. with what ive experienced with my ls with air suspension, if i purchase another one i was thinking of avoiding it but i dont want my car to not feel special lol. has anybody driven both and is the difference that much noticeable in the suspension and steering? or are are there any preferences ?

I have 07 SWB (no air) and 08 LWB with air suspension/vrgs (touring) and I don't feel any difference. As a matter of fact the SWB most of the time is smoother because of the 18" wheels. On bad roads the LWB feels softer but overall it is a wash. Air might feel better in combination with 18", don't know.

I do not own two of these but have driven a couple of non-air suspension LSs (bit newer, though - 2011 and 2012) and have felt no real difference in the steering relative to my L with air. Smoothness has been a completely different story. My car came with 18s, which I run in the winter, and nothing I have driven is smoother than this. Even with my touring 19s that I use in the summer, the car is very smooth (though not as much as with the 18s, of course).

We have both a non air '13 (my car) and an F-Sport '13 (with air) and I can't tell any difference in the steering between the two. They are both equally great.
