Has anyone done this yet? I have been told that there are two diffrent ways to do it. 1. with a links system and 2. with a data system control module. Anyone?

 

I have the Data System controller installed. I think a few others also have the same unit installed and work beautifully.

 

if you have stock air suspension, data system is your friend. cheap and works super well

dumb question, I have the 2008 LS460, is air suspension on all the 460's or is it part of a package? Do you know the cost of this lower system.

 

data system is a lowering controller which allow you to lower the air suspension equipped vehicles (depends on applications) at a press of a button. The module is a plug and play unit that goes behind the dash into the air suspension ECU. The actual controller is about a size of cigarette box with LCD display.

Note the data system in the about link is for LS430. ASC680L is for LS460L/600hL

 

If I am not mistaken, LS460 (at least 07') does not come with air suspension. I don't know about 08'. I believe the system is retailed at $1200 but I am pretty sure if you shop around you can find good prices.

 

I think even for 08 models, the air suspension is an option only for the LS460L, not the LS460.

 

correct, i don't think swb has air suspension.

one good reason to go for lwb if you want to lower your car so much cheaper

are you saying anyone with a 07 ls460 swb can add the stock air suspension for 1200.00 after buying a car that hasnt? if so, that is great news...

 

another cheap way of lowering your car with out the datasystems controller is readjust the leveler arms on the suspension.

 

no, he meant the air controller retails at 1200 but you can get it for much cheaper.

you don't even want to think about adding factory air suspension to the swb. i can't imagine the cost
