Default Visibility

In looking at pictures of the 460's and the 430's, it seems to me that visibility will suffer a little in the newer vehicle. The side windows on the 460's don't seem as high, and the back window is slanted more, giving it less viewing area to the outside through the rear view mirror. Not much of a concern, but great visibility does have a lot to do with safety. Anyone else get these same impressions?

Well if the design cues are like New GS/IS, then I can see that visibility might suffer a bit...supposedly this is an issue with several of the L-Finesse designs.

yes i notice that too, that on the 3gs and 2is the windows portion got smaller compared to the older generatiosn. i think it's a trend.

but given how you will be seated inside the car, i don't think it will be a problem. sit in a sc430, now that's a problem

I would rather suffer visibility than have my car look unattractive. But that's just me.

I dont think you would suffer... but when you compare it to another car with big windows (like your other daily driver) it just seems like your missing out... when you're really not. But I dont think it wont be something to warrent any complaints.
