I have an 04 forest green/saddle sc430. Beginning of this winter I noticed the slightly tinted green drivers side door tinting was starting to peel. I took the car back to the dealer about a month ago and they retinted the window under warrantee. Now it's about 5 weeks later and it's starting to peel again. Maybe from the recent cold weather? I kept the windows up about 6 days (as requested when I picked the car up after the retinting). Now I have to go back again to have it fixed again. Anybody know what I can do to prevent this from happening again. I've been told I keep having to go back to the dealer from which I purchased the car since the tinting was done by their local man. It's kind of a hassle since I live about 3 hours away. Anybody have any bright ideas?
I had the same problem , they had to make the tint film deerper ( longer ), so it wouldnt touch the scraper seal, mine pulled three times on the driver mirror corner ,

yup, same here, my driver side corner right by the mirror keeps on peeling. twice already, i might need to get it fixed again
the problem is there is no window trim, and when you wash the car or so water can easily get in there and the tint will come up
gee-bee, that's exactly what i think i should do. so basically you has the tint goes quite a bit deeper INTO the door panel, am i interpreting what you said correctly? bsaically go PASS the scraper seal? please advise before i go back again
Same problem here on my passenger side. I finally just took the door panel off and drove it up to the dealer like that (amazing amount of road noise). They could tint it several inches down and haven't had any problems since (over a year now). -Roger
Yea, the functionality of the door is not affected with the door paneling being removed. It's also a great opportunity to remove the wood trim from the panel and place some insulation under it to get rid of the buzzing/vibration noise when you crank the stereo with a lot of bass. -Roger
