Default rear window- how to undo childproofing?

my rear windows go down about 90 percent before it stops- i believe its to protect young children from accidently jumping out the window or something. other cars like camry's and accord's have the same thing with their rear windos. i was wondering if you guys could help me out and tell me how i can undo this option so that all my windows go all the way down? is there a way to override the option?

thanks very much-

I think it's because there physically isn't enough room in the door for the window to go all the way down.

Every GS I've seen does this. I would classify it 'as designed' rather than a problem. Of course I'd prefer they go all the way down too , just don't think there is room for the glass.

Same here. I believe this is the way it was designed and cannot be overcome.

Um, no, they don't go all the way down because there isn't room for the glass to go completely into the door. They don't care if children jump out the window, LOL

nop, it's not a safety issue, it's a design issue. there is no room for the window to go any further down

of all the cars i have owned so car, my 02 acura tl-s is the only one where the rear window can go all the way down

So aristo windows are different than american gs's windows? Coz mine goes all the way down. I do know my RL windows back in the US dont go all the way down either....

umm, could be? i thought it's physical limits where the window hit the curve at the back of teh door. but maybe it's not the case? we need to see pics now

that's why during car shows, we just row down the front window so it "aligns" with the rear
