Projected Price For the LS series?
I've heard price ranges all over the block. I heard some saying around 56-70 for the 460 models and 80ish up for the 600. Has any information came out?

the 600h fully loaded will be right at the 100k line. "base" price for the 600h might be around 70 to 80, but i doubt if you will be able to get a "based" 600h.
460 base i think wil start at around 55k to 60k, a fully loaded 460 i say it's around 75k to 80k. the fully loaded 460l (2+2 seats, etc...) i think it will got for about 85 to 90k
all these are msrp

The GS460 fully loaded is approaching $60k, so the upgrade for the LS should be a little more. Also, don't forget that the long-wheelbase LS will have many upgrades standard that are optional on the short-wheelbase LS. I believe the four zone climate control, one touch open/close features, and Nav+ML are standard on the long-wheelbase.
My guesstimates:
LS460 = $65k
LS460L = $80k
LS600h = $75k
LS600Lh = $90k

Well, if the New York Times is correct, you can look for the LS600HL at about $125K

Am I the Chauffeur ?
Honestly, I don't get. Why do you want a high performance powertrain (600HL) in a vehicle that you're suppose to the passenger? Do you really want your chauffeur doing donuts and drag racing with your Lexus?
Come on now... what next, a 500HP V-10 in a LS for Mr. Trump to enjoy in the back?
I don't think anyone purchases a Maybach or a Bentley to personally drive it do they? Maybe I'm wrong and people do buy Rolls Royces to drive to their company board rooms.

I think the V12's in Bentley's, RR's, Maybach's & S class etc. are rare & a prestigious status symbol, so it's more than just the high hp/ performance of the V12 in the practical sense. So you can also look at the LS600hL as an alternative to a V12 & a rare(& a first), prestigious techno marvel to own.

Will the LS 600h be offered in the US, or only in Japan/Europe as the Lexus.jp site and the Lexus US teaser brochure seems to imply?
How about the LS 460 L in Europe? I wonder what the allocations are going to be...
