Ok, ok...
First. what exactly (post number here) would you like me to edit. The one where napamikey said ML instead of spelling it out. Or another I'm missing?
Second. Ease up... You maybe a "global moderator" of a Mitsubishi forum and It sounds like a massive site. If were dropping titles as a flex. Then I'm the same level of Moderator here...and believe me, This place is very f'ing organized. Dave and team have worked years at it.
Recent changes in leadership are going to be more lax with repetitive posts and abbreviations such as ML, PB, SD, RSP. (Pebble Beach, Sport Design, Royal Sapphire Pearl)
But, as mentioned, there is a decent search engine here. Finding info is not AI quick. But its not microfiche either.
and ML/Mark Levinson is synonymous with Lexus and Lexus fans like Kim Cattrall is to Sex and The City. (see what I did there...ML was married to KC)
Seriously dude, get over yourself. Run your site the way you want. Nobody is asking for your help here...you have offered nothing to the OP of this thread other than derailing it.

I refuse to engage with you any more, especially as you have resorted to insulting me and my family.
I will correspond with neurocity via PM, later today.

Wait... why? I just wanted to know what post I needed to edit? I don't need a PM. Especially after I explained that most with Lexus cars know what people are referring to with ML.
As far as searching with two letters...of course you are not going to find anything. Even with a AI "elastic" search you are going to get nothing or everything.
If I had an issue with my amp... I would search with keywords like "Amplifier, or Infotainment, or Stereo"
ML amp... give you this. Then you drill down again.
This thread is gone way off now... So Back on track.
Thaks to all who have responded. I'm only somewhat familiar with the 430s and not much else, unless we are talking about Buick Grand Nationals. I know enough about them to get myself into trouble. I'm going to apply some due diligence with a lot more reading here and watching the car care nut and other you tube videos. I will gladly check out anything that anyone here thinks might be helpful or of interest. I'm especially interested in info as to what be concerned about and or avoid, such as features and possibly model years. I know keeping my options open ends with acquiring the next car. For what it's worth, I recently checked out a new Camry. The price on those is about 42 plus tax & etc. so at least 45 out the door. I'm fondly remembering the times when the new Camrys were about 10 K less, and it wasn't that long ago!

Take what the Car Care Nut says with a grain of salt. He's a little over zealous when it comes to this stuff, and he likes his old cars and not the newer stuff.
I'm just starting to look for a newer LS 460 to replace my 2004 LS 430. My thought was to look for a 2015 to 2017 RWD. I know some will advise to go for the AWD for MN. I'm not concerned for better traction. I have had no problems with the two RWD cars I have now and think that the additional cost and complexity on an older car is a consideration. I'm hoping to get some advice as to what to look for and what to look out for. I currently have a 2002 and a 2004 LS 430 and have had them for over a decade. I'm very pleased with the overall driving experience and the reliability. At 24 and 22 years old now they are getting old enough, here in the rust state of MN to start shopping for a replacement. One of the cars was my wife's and I will be selling the 2022 outright, since I don't need two of them. I'm not in a hurry to replace the 2004, since it's not causing me any concerns at this time. I will likely keep it until I have had its replacement for long enough to know that I will keep that. I want to end up with the newest and best choice I can get. My intention was to stay with the V8 and inline drivetrain LS, so 2017 would be the newest. I'm thinking about getting one from a southern state to avoid the road salt damage that can be a concern in MN. Thanks in advance for any advice that will help guide me to an informed decision.
likewise was in the market for a 2013-2017 LS460 and just settled on a 14 one owner SWB with 48k miles and clean carfax. Took me 2 months to find the right car.. 4 yrs ago I sold my 3rd LS460 (2013 swb ) with 120k miles and went to a Ford pu. In that the King Ranch has an incredible ride it wasn’t an LS. I bought the 460 to have a good 2nd car to take out when good weather and wanting to experience the Lexus quality, ride and styling.. nothing rides or drives like a Lexus from my 20 yrs in driving 4 previously owned (1 GS and 3 LS models). Hoping the lower miles will give me good service and help avoid the major expenses for a while that are inherent with higher model examples., my immediate service will be coolant and brake flush as brakes and rotors were fine not long ago,,, great thread as helped me frame most of the issues I can expect in the future…. As an avid car enthusiasts and classic collector the last 25 yrs, nothing made gives you the experience and pleasure of a Lexus!!! Happy driving!!
