Front awd axles
The front right axle alone is a challenge to remove. It is cheaper and more cost effective to replace boots as far as the axles didn't get damaged due to lack of grease. Use OEM parts only. Make sure to use correct crease there are 2 different kinds for internal and external joints.

I let my shop replace one of my front AWD axles with OEM due to a leaking boot over the summer at ~140k miles. Didn’t have space at the time but if the other one fails I will probably attempt replacing just the boot myself.
It was not cheap but no issues so far. Sounded like it was a recent failure, just a small grease leak. It helped on cost that they did the TSB for the radiator at the same time so they already had lots of parts off and out of the way.
Surprised to hear people are getting 300k out of them but maybe failures aren’t super related to mileage and more to randomness and aging of the rubber
