Default Can you convert an rcf to awd ?

Curious as to if you can convert the rcf to awd and if someone has did. Just curious that’s all. Would it be beneficial or detrimental in the long run? Is it worth it in your opinion ? Expensive ? Labor cost ? Not mechanically inclined so just wondering about the possibilities. Thanks

Yes you sell the RWD car and buy the AWD version.

It is a RWD platform and drivetrain built to be RWD. There is no such thing as conversion for the RCF to AWD without a redesign.

I doubt it is do-able without serious work and in the end, it wouldn't be an improvement. The car is HEAVY and adding more weight won't gain you anything.

You would need to replace the drive train, probably get a custom transfer case to handle the torque of the 5L V8. Easier to trade-in for a RC350 AWD or if you want AWD and high performance, go with the Nissan GTR
