Best Rotors?
I’ve been using Centric rotors with Akebono pads on my LS and for friends and family with no issues. Just make sure to get the ones with the coated hub so they don’t rust.
I feel like I’ve read that Akebono pairs well with OEM rotors, maybe even ADVICS, but not 100% sure.

Had aftermarket rotors and pads (unknown brand) on my 2017 LS 460 when I bought it 3 years ago. It was bad. Around town it was OK, but pretty bad vibration on heavy braking. Brakes felt weird, too grabby and prone to fading. Installed OEM pads and rotors on all 4 corners within a week and driving every day ever since. Braking from 80 is very good. No vibration, no fading, pedal feels solid and predictable in trail braking. Had similar experience on other Toyotas and my 2016 ES350. Tried multiple brands and kinds of rotors and pads and on every car was going back to OEM except for two of my last Avalons. On those I used Centric Cryo rotors with EBC Red Stuff but switched to OEM pads because EBC was producing too much dust. Also, keep it in mind that Toyota has two grades of OEM pads. They have real deal, that goes on the assembly line and budget version, that is cheaper and usually being stocked by most of the dealers. Those cheap ones pretty bad these days.
