Default Key fob programmer

Hi all,

I've got a 2009 LS SWB. I recently lost one of my key fobs and don't want to pay the dealership for a new one. There are plenty of inexpensive replacement fobs online that match my fob's ID number and control board number. The question is what programmer will program a new fob correctly. I have the Autel Mk808s scan tool. While I followed the procedure to program my new key fob it didn't work. From what I see online there are three programming units that might work for my Lexus key fob: Lonsdor, Xhorse, and Tango.

Does anyone have any experience with successfully programing a replacement key fob? What tool did you use?

Thanks.

Quick update, I got an after market key fob from Ebay for $30. I tried using my Autel Mk808s to program it and it worked. I just need to have the key shank cut by a key place. Thanks.
