My original issue was no sound from infotainment at all. Did some research, found out that it was the 30Amp fuse located under the glove box. Replaced that fuse then everything went out. No ignition. No interior lights. No locks or windows. Keyfob doesn't even work. The ignition light on the button doesn't come on when u step on the brake. What the hell did i do? Can anyone help me? I've checked all the fuses in both fuse boxes inside. Do I need to check to 2 boxes under the hood & the one in the trunk? The battery is reading 11.9 volts, so it's not a battery issue. I'm thinking.....should I just disconnect the battery to reset everything? I'm lost.

I checked all the fuses under the hood. They're all good. I tried removing the negative lead on the battery for 24 hrs, in hopes that things will reset themselves. That didn't work. Does it matter that didn't remove the positive lead on the battery? The interior lights come on when I turn them to the on position. When set to doors, they don't come on. No headlights or puddle lights.

This was my problem. It wasn't the battery. One of the fusible links inside the power distribution box was blown. I found this on Ebay, used for $175 and replaced it myself.

Because my retarded *** didn't have my glasses on and misread a 6 as a 3 & put a 60A fuse on a 30A load...total....cost me $350. I'm guilty. I admit it. Didn't actually realize it until the very end of all this.

You could start with finding out what that fuse link is powering and go from there, because it went from the audio failing to everything out I'd have to guess something happened when you were changing that box.
Because the you lost audio I would have a look at the amp and it's wiring for anything that looks suspicious.
The owner before me completely hacked & chopped 70% of the amp wiring. Because several of the speakers still worked & i had no pressing issues with it, i put it off. I had a appt with my audio guy to completely rewire the amp & speakers. He had to aquire the exact factory wiring diagram 1st. Evidently, I was too late. I had to cancel that appt because the car wouldn't start from my screw-up. So you can best believe, I'll be in his shop asap to get the complete rewiring done.
