Tpms for 2011 ls 460
Hello.
finally bought my dream car. 2011 ls 460 awd. Has some minor repairs to be done but seems the awd model is more difficult to find parts for and or not listed. Does the tpms for the wheel differ or does someone have a part number?

There is no difference in TPMS units. In fact, the same TPMs valve/sensor is used on a whole raft of Toyota and Lexus products. Rock Auto has OEM Denso. Check their price and the online wholesale at Lexus parts with local pickup. I have often found the Lexus direct cheaper than Rock the last little while due to very high shipping costs.
OK, very interesting. Thank you for your help. Should I also replace my spare tire. I wasn’t sure if you could just replace one or all at the same time. And I will be having a shop do it I have no idea how to program anything.
I'm not sure how long they will last but I got a 5 yr warranty. That's longer than these tires will last lol
I found that the service at my discount tire to be exemplary. I had issues with vibration and bent rim. Although I did find the bent one myself they did a great job of road force balance. I changed all 5 on my 2012 at the same time u prob should too.

Normal service life on the batteries is 10-12 years, shorter where it is really hot. Your car is 14 years old, change them all, especially if you are putting on new tires, as it is cheaper than doing it one at a time.

I just had tires and new (Lexus/Toyota) TPMS sensors installed by an independent shop and they couldn't or didn't know how to "marry" the sensors to the car. Long story short, I brought my car to Prestige Lexus here in Ramsey, NJ and they told me it would be 2 hours labor at $200.00 per hour!! I feel like it's BOHICA time every time I go to the dealer. Lessen learned for me.
