Anybody installed this in an LS of the same years:

I installed the LS460 version of that (purchased directly from beatsonic's website) in July 2023 in my MY2014 and it's been excellent. For this specific part you linked, the important question here is whether there are any actual differences between the GX and LS versions or if it's just configuration switch changes. Quickly checking the beatsonic site, we're looking at LGVIF-CB4W (GX/Land Cruiser) vs LGVIF-CB2W (LS and evidently most other models too). Since the latter supports a lot of different models, I'd speculate that there might indeed be a hardware difference (cable harness and/or interface box firmware), whereas the vehicle selection part of the CB2W page is more likely to just be them preconfiguring the DIP switches on the controller for your chosen vehicle. If it was just configuration switch changes there'd be no reason to have a separate listing for the GX. Of course this is all me guessing here and you'd have to reach out to Beatsonic for actual confirmation.
One nice thing about the 13-15 LS (and a few other models for those years) is that they also offer a small cable that allows you to use the factory USB port to connect to the Carplay/Android Auto box for wired usage. I did this, though to be honest the wireless connects so quickly and reliably that for the majority of the longer trips when I do bother plugging in my phone it's already connected wirelessly and the cable just ends up charging the phone. Could be handy if you want to e.g. temporarily use someone else's phone without going through the wireless setup. This does of course mean that you can't connect to the factory radio through USB anymore, if that's something you need. If you do go this route I will mention that the black-and-white nature of the instruction photos (which were otherwise good and straightforward to follow) did confuse me here as I assumed a different color for the USB plug on the radio than it actually was (off the top of my head it's gray but I spent some time trying to figure out why a similarly-shaped blue connector wasn't plugging in correctly).

Beatsonic is having a Black Friday promotion where some items are 15% off. I am not sure if the Carplay units are included but you may want to check out their website. I plan on ordering some items for my 2016.
I had the Beatsonic in my '15 GX. (It was totaled.) When I got my '14 LS, it was the first thing I had installed in it. Beatsonic products are the best. Their customer service is unmatched. If i have to go aftermarket for android auto for anything, I will also go Beatsonic.

Oh, sorry, no, I meant I had the one for the GX installed in my GX and then bought a new one for the LS. I didn't say that quite right, my apologies.Originally Posted by sktn77a
