Hey guys, JDM 2007 LS600H. A few days ago I pressed the "current location" button by accident(top button on right of the screen) and it has been showing this "Checking the map disk. Please wait for a moment." Ever since. Last night I disconnected the battery ground, got in and pressed the start button once. Let the system initial and it's still there. Looking for any recommendations since I can't find a thread with a fix. Thanks.

Being a JDM has it ever shown a local map for you?

 

No it hasn't.

 

It thinks it's still in Japan and looking for satellites I guess, try pushing the button again like an on/off switch. Have you ever changed the battery? just wondering if you did and what happened then.

 

Haven't replaced the battery. Disconnecting it I hoped it would stop the system from trying to find the map or whatever.

It's not even that I want to use the navigation, everything is in a language I can't read lol

 

It's just that this screen stays up till I turn it to the audio or HVAC screen.

 

All my music is still on the HDD, would it be a different one for the nav?
