I just had my 120k mile service yesterday. I bought the car new and it's now 10 years old. The only issue in 10 years has been a leaking valley cover, which cost $2,100 to repair. The car looks and rides like new. The only negative is that when climbing a long hill the transmission whines a little and always did. One the freeway at 80 mph the car is very quiet and smooth.
RIght, I saw that but, it's for a 2013, my car is a 2014...
I'll try to call them next week, maybe I will get lucky...
Mine stopped working completely after it quit changing for daylight saving, then after trying everything I could think of I went menu/setup/general/clock/time zone then scrolled to other where you see GMT + or - then it would adjust...wouldn't do this on auto set off /manual for some reason.
I couldn't get the minutes exact but I'm ok knowing "it's around 9:30" that's close enough for me.
I can look at my phone quite easily knowing I put $400 in my parts account.

When I got the car, it was perfect, no issues and always kept perfect time, then about 6-8 months later, this happened.
At one time I could adjust it but, when I selected the hour mark to move it, it only moved about 10-15 min. Now it's stuck at 8:07 forever. I installed an Android Auto kit in my car, so the clock is almost right above it, so if I need the time there it is.
The clock still glows at night and when you walk up to the car but, it does not tell time...
Not sure Lexus will actually do anything with a 2014 (as the car is almost 10 years old now) but, I'll call...
...this would be almost the only time I'd be perfectly comfortable with replacing the broken clock with non-OEM parts. However, a few minutes search I actually found OEM and for $23(?). Yep I'm skeptical the piece is OEM too or not. But at this price I'd take a chance.

What is the correct link ? You missed part of it... And part # 08887-80609 is genuine Toyota Brake Caliper Grease
$23ish is about what it sells for....
The clock should be part # 83910-50082 and the CHEAPEST I can find it is $180ish on eBay from overseas... I have seen used ones on eBay for around $80 (totaled car thing) but, nothing right now, still kind of pricey for a clock in my eyes...
Thanks for looking

DavidinCT, I tried using my own link and it won't take me back to that page. There's still an "EW parts" but no Lexus and it's all in Chinese with no translation.
I knew it - sounds too good to be true/is, etc.
I'm thinking the cheapest clock would be from a salvage car, that's the only thing I can think of. But I happened to see this OEM clock for $183, second cheapest one I've seen so far. And at least the page will probably still be there if you go look at it.

Yea, I check ebay time to time, there was a few around $100-120 with best offers on them, I would have offered like $75 and see if they bit but, Now they are crazy expensive.
Thanks anyway, i still need to call Lexus and see if they will cover it... Not a lot of hope but, you never know.,..
I bought my 2008 in dec 2019. Park Place didn't want to fix it to sell it, so I bought it as-is for dirt cheap.
At the time it needed:
-All front control arms
-HPFP gaskets
-4 tires
-Brakes all around
-Oil pan (dented, not leaking)
-Blower motor
-Had a sticky interior (Lexus replaced under warranty extension-would have cost over $12,000).
-Exhaust leak at the flex-pipe.
-tie rod ends
-sway bar links
-sway bar bushings
-ball joints
and they quoted me almost $11,000 to do it all (sans interior).
I paid for the car, drove it home, and did every repair in my garage with about $1,800 (including a set of tires). Then I took it to Davenport Motors in Plano TX and had them flush the brake system, service the trans and rear diff. Its been great ever since.

That's no mean feat ArmyofOne especially on a Lexus V8! I can see how once you went at the front end and began pickle-forking everything apart the tendency would be to do everything while the greasy-tinker-toy set is in pieces anyway! But especially for most of us home mechanics with no proper lift - all that would have been twice the challenge (by the way how many miles? and what are "HPFP" gaskets?)
I have a couple questions on your interesting comment - when you changed the oil pan did you find shock or awe? (Shocked at how sludged up or awed at the general cleanliness inside?)
- Our LS460's are supposed to have a stainless steel exhaust system, so what do you think caused the exhaust leak? And was the fix patching it, welding the hole or replacing that section?
- On the brakes did you get drilled rotors or just go with OEM? And did you need Techstream after you did the brakes?
