On my 2013, I sprayed over the existing sensor because there was a scratch next to it. It didn't set off any error light and seemed to work OK. I did eventually get the bumper professionally painted and he cleaned off the paint I had sprayed. Not saying it can't be a problem. Not saying Anfanger is wrong. Worst case is removing the paint you put on it.

Since I blew out the sensor, I am now having an occasional ABS warning light that comes on and stays on. It says to check the braking system. nothing seems different and I can turn the car off at a light and then turn it back on and the warning will be gone. And when it is on my auto brake won't enable. Could these be related?
