Wondering if anyone can help with wiring of an LED emblem. It came with a fuse tap with a red fuse at the end (assuming 10amp) and in inline 5amp fuse. I need an acc 12v switched fuse. What fuse should I pull from the fuse box in the engine compartment? Am I correct in saying that I would need to pull a 10amp fuse since the end fuse on the tap is a 10amp? Does it matter what way I plug in the fuse tap? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Fuse Tap Red Fuse, can’t see rating but assuming red is 10amp. 5amp in-line fuse for emblem circuit Vague instructions.
@Gerf I attempted to pull it using a decent amount of force without trying to damage it and it won’t come out.
So then if the fuse ever blows you have to cut the end off and instal a proper fuse with wiring attached, might as well just do that before installation.
I would try to return that and get something that's serviceable.
What's the emblem?

I guess if for some reason it Does blow I can just buy a proper fuse tap and splice it to the emblem.
Sorry I didn't look at the pic very close, the end is just a connection and only looks like a fuse...the actual fuse is part way down the red wire.
You need an ignition on power source for what they show as a fuse box connection, I don't know if you're going to have a spare in your fuse box but you might.
I would just tap into an ignition on power source that meets your needs with a 3 way butt connector because the power source will already be fused and there is one on your emblem harness as well. Good luck.
