hi all, i have an 07 LS460 and having issues, my car will not start, no dash lights, no power to windows, moon roof, nothing, when i try to start the car, nothing, no dash lights, parking brake will not disengage. nothing. i can get the starter to turn when jumping it under the hood. but will not start.

 

Your battery could be shorted, not just low on voltage. This will prevent a jumper from starting your car. Take the battery to a car parts or battery store and have them test it. Typical life of battery 4-6 years.

 

i will have a look also forgot, i hooked up the scanner to check for codes and the scanner was getting "unable to connect"

 

If your ECU does not get enough power, you will not be able to use a scanner.

What is going on in that picture? That may be a control unit for something but if you're looking for the engine ECU that's not it.
