LS460 low power in reverse

Yesterday, I didn't have enough power to back up a steep driveway, but it is fine in forward. Any ideas?

Did you have the parking brake on? Some brake designs have a lot more holding capability in reverse and that makes them seem that they will go forward but not backup.
