Does your car have the turn down mufflers? I kinda want to add tips but my exhausts turn down towards the ground and it doesn't look like I can really fit the tips due to the bumper not really having a cut out for the exhaust tip

Yes they do turn down. But there's a shop near me so I'm sure they can figure something out.
Been debating on getting some new exhaust overall, but I didn't want to really change up the way the LC sounded or make it too much louder than it already is.
The ‘01 year turn down. I think the refresh in ‘04 had cut outs to allow for exposed tips. After market body kits mostly have cut outs for the muffler tips to be seen. I looked into doing something on my ‘01 but decided against it (unless I also did an after market bumper cover which are pricey to acquire, paint, and install).

My sister’s LS got rear ended a few years ago and our dealership’s body shop put on a bumper with exhaust holes. I’ve never seen this version of the 01-03 bumper before. It’s not as noticeable as the exhaust cut outs on the 04-06 LS430’s. I didn’t even notice it until I was behind it and got really close.

Since we’re here now…I used stock WRX tips when I did my muffler delete. They were free (just had them laying around) and they’re OEM quality material (just real dirty right now). Don’t know the size because I never measured but I think they fit just right.
I have the 2001 with OEM exhaust turndown tips. Tips were replaced with Magnaflow 35129 Stainless Steel 2.25" Exhaust Tip. They fit in the OEM bumper cutouts, and have a oval shape similar to facelift OEM.
