Just wondering I have a 2006 LS-430 is there a way to de-activate the automatic function on the rear view mirrors where thing just stay put/open?

 

If you're talking about preventing the side view mirrors from folding in when you shutoff the car, yes..you can prevent that from occurring. To the left of the steering wheel, push the left side of the side mirror switch. If the switch is in the middle/auto, the mirrors will open when you start the car and close when you shutoff the car.
