Default Rattle in dashboard

I have a rattle in my display unit. It goes away when I push on the vertical piece of plastic just to the left of the Map/Destination/Menu/Audio buttons. Anyone have any suggestions how to fix the vibration/rattle? Is it possible to "pop off" that piece and put it back in with glue/etc?

Here's a procedure on removing the nav screen. There's also some videos on YouTube.

Default How to fix the rattle

There are metal clasps shaped like 'V's that hold the nav screen and CD unit into place. From what I recall, there are 4 for the nav unit, and 2 for the CD unit. Over time, the felt material on the clasps wears off, and the clasps can even fall out of place. For mine, both the felt had worn off and the clasps fell off. Remove all of the components from the center console (you start from the bottom, at the heated seat panel, and work your way up. There are other posts on this that you can check for more detailed instructions) and then re-felt the clasps (you can get felt tape on amazon or at a hardware store) and reinsert them into their slots in the nav unit/CD unit. This fixed my rattle, and should fix yours as well. Total job should take ~1 hr, and requires a #2 Phillip's head screwdriver as well as a 10mm socket.
