It would be extremely odd to have a TB fail on one of these, disconnect your coolant lines to the TB and temporarily bypass or plug them and see if the smoke issue goes away since the deicer leaking is about the only thing that ever goes wrong with these

The vid shows an older car with a throttle cable the 430 does not have.
The 430 link is MAF related.
The SC link is from an era when bad ECU caps were problematic. An issue that was solved before any 430s were built.
The ES link is simply a fools errand.

Agree...
Did not wish to start OP on a wild goose chase with throttle body issues not pertaining to OP's issue when post. As OP knows his issue involves coolant being introduced into the process where it should not be, did not think additional throttle body issues information may point him in a wrong direction. Was thinking post may help OP find a ClubLexus member with good throttle body issue knowledge, or someone else who may be able to be of help, and wrote "Hopefully a member who has first-hand experienced with this issue in an LS430 may comment...." to try to make that point....
Will try to be more mindful in the future....

yep, opened up the throttle body cover and it’s as it should. A little dirty but it was closed.

what to do next? Order a scanner to get a more detailed diagnostic on the car?

should I just check it out with a fancy code scanner
since my Foxwell just told me that the throttle body was stuck open?
