Hello
My model didn't have a Bluetooth fitted by lexus and I know the previous owner had it installed. It worked for me when I had CD on CD2. Now I can't find the Bluetooth item from any phone.
I want to check if it's disconnected. Anyone knows where aftermarket Bluetooth devices are installed on lexus models that don't come pre-fitted?
thanks

Aftermarket Bluetooth modules connect to the rear of the radio/CD unit.
Remove the radio and you will either see the module behind the CD player, or else be able to follow the cable from the splitter (Y) cable to the Bluetooth unit.
This is NOT to be confused with the built in Bluetooth which as has been previously stated is built into the Nav unit.
Chances are it is just a printed track on the circuit board so don't expect a separate antenna.

I took my car to a local garage and he found the bluetooth unit (parrot) under the glove box. Very basic box that stopped working. It was my lucky time as he had spares and jus plugged one which worked perfectly. It only does phone,no music and is not connected to the CD whatsoever. Massive Thanks to each and everyone who responded.
