Bluetooth Radio Installed With Stock Navigation
So I've been trying to get someone to install bluetooth radio inside of my 2002 LS 430. Problem is one shop is saying that since it has the stock navigation it will be a problem...a $750 fee including the labor if I badly wanted it to get done. I said no & took my business elsewhere. Found another shop, they said their labor fee was only 270 which is reasonable but I'll have to buy the equipment. So I browsed on Amazon, found a Bluetooth radio for $99.99 & just when I thought I had it all figured out, the accessories that come with the kit totalled up to $420...any suggestions guys??
You cannot install a bluetooth radio, you have to use an adapter to interface with the factory radio. 01-03 use a different connector from 04-06 so look out for that when buying an adapter.

I have a 2001 and for the longest time of complaining to a friend about missing blue tooth, I received a Jabra Bluetooth speaker as a gift. I can honestly say that this speaker is the best and easiest solution for quality sound and the least hassle in getting calls where hands free is now a must here in Florida. The speaker gets 20 hrs of talking time before before a charge and lasts for weeks or more before needing any charge if not using it regularly. It comes in crystal clear and people I speak to think I'm talking from my home. If you are interested, I can give you all the particulars. I used a motorola before which was junk. I've had this speaker for years and it's great. Made very well and fits really securely on my visor.

Unless you absolutely have to have top quality audio, these are cheap and convenient.
Mine is plugged into the cigarette socket inside the armrest which means I have to lift the armrest to take a hands-free call (it uses the mic in the adaptor), but if you put it in the ashtray socket you won't need to and can also use it to charge the phone.
Audio quality is as good as any FM station with just a slight hum in the silence between tracks.
I use mine with my Android phone and an app called Folder Player for playing MP3s.
There are a whole load of different layouts available for these adaptors so browse for your favourite.

I apologize Domo for my misunderstanding of what you were looking for. My mistake. I didn't realize you were looking for bluetooth radio. I thought you were interested in bluetooth phone. Please disregard my post with regards to the Jabra Tour. That is useful for phone calls. Sorry for any misunderstanding. I use my iphone with Pandora and a cassette adaptor to listen to all the songs I want through the car radio. That method works great for me.
