So I ordered these from up garage the came damaged though =( kinda bummed, I have learned do no ship anything with DHL. Thinking of ways to fix the lens any ideas are welcome.
That sucks. No insurance? Seems that whomever packed it did a poor job. That aside, some plastics fabricator could probably make new outers but that's going to be some $$. I've worked with clear epoxies but it will not fill a seam/crack like that without it showing.

If you know any plastic fabricators you recomend please give me there info I am cool with paying money to get the lights fixed.
I honestly wouldnt care if there is any seems I just want to put the lights on the lights on the car =/
I was told by DHL that they are not responsible for the damage and I cannot file a claim only the shipper can, they then proceeded to tell me this is a quote "well its not my problem buddy". So I am seeing what I can do.
I was looking and making a new lens is not that hard it seems you make a silicone mold then inject the plastic in so maybe I can try to make a new lens that will look ok. I contacted a company in australia that makes custom stuff lenses for older classic cars so hopefully they will get back to me.

DHL did me fine with my wheels. Osaka to Houston in 30 hours, no issues or damage. Were they packed adequately enough? Hopefully you paid with a credit card and can dispute the charges.

I pay with pay pal just in case stuff like this happens, DHL lost my package for two days also. The lights could have used a little more packing but it looks like something was dropped on the box.
When stuff arrives like that, in badly damaged packaging, I refuse to accept the delivery.
I then contact the supplier and inform them that I have refused the package and why.
They pay the delivery company to take reasonable care with the package, so it's up to them to resolve it with the delivery company, but they also should have packed it better.
Always pay by Paypal/credit-card if buying from a company. That way you can recover the payment if needed.
Can they just refund you fully? I wouldn't want anything to do with those. Like @Romanova said, I'd try a different broker.
I can personally recommend Jesse Streeter, have done numerous orders with him over the last few years, with a zero failure / damage rate.
Only issue you may run into, is that JapanPost is seriously backlogged in getting out orders to the US, due to COVID slowing down International freight channels. I've got an order that's sat idle in Osaka for two weeks now.
Another vote for Streeter. Did me right on my BBS RG393 wheels. Buyee has also been good. When my roof spoiler was damaged, they promptly issued a full refund.
I bought a set off of Yahoo Japan and they came in the original box Styrofoam and all. I have the 04 version that's the only difference. As soon as I get back to my computer I can give you the link to the original website.

Sorry to hear this happened to you.
I'm a bit confused by this post/thread.
Did you pay with paypal or not? If you did, you can file a claim via paypal to get your money back.
Also, what year LS430 were you buying these tail lights for? I see it says you have an 05 LS430 on your avatar, and I may be mistaken, but those tail lights you bought look like they are only for an 01 to 03 model, especially the inner pieces. 04 to 06 have more of pointed angle on the inners, even the aftermarket tails.
I Hope you are able to find a solution!
