It's likely the ballast, it's not that hard to do but can be a little annoying to get the headlight out of the car, I can make a short video on how to do it if you need to.

I'd think it would help many as its the kind of job most vehicles will be up for now/soon.
Mine's got 400,000 clicks on it and I want to see another 2000K at least. Love her
ballast on Amazon so I can get it tomorrow before I get a ticket.
On a side note I kind of like the look of only parking and fog lights, for driving in the rain or fog. Maybe I can rewire the fogs to also have power or ground when the switch is on parking mode.
