Question Vibrating steering wheel. Only when the car is cold....

Yes I know it sounds very strange.

My steering wheel wants to vibrate between 70 an 100km (60miles) but only sometimes and especially when the car has been sitting for all of the night.
After a 15 minute drive, the vibration is all gone. Maybe because I am on the highway after 15 min and after that I am making way more speed. But even after arriving in a village, the vibration is still gone.

This vibrating is not happening every day but most of the days.

Wheel alignement and balance should be ok. That has been done with the Hunter 9700 and the Hunter alignement machine.

The only things I can think of are my brakedisks. They vibrate sometimes as well when I push the brake.
Or maybe some of the bushings.

It has 120.000km and I am using this car once in a few days and only in the summer.

Hope somebody has a clue.

Many thanks.

It sounds like your tires may be flat spotting. If your car sits for several days like yous does, the tires may develop flat spots that take a few miles to work out. This has happened to me but usually it takes longer then a couple of days.

I check the tyrepressure right away. Good thinking! but I already thought about It as well but yesterday it was only 24 hours after the last trip...... My tyres are made of a very soft compound but not that soft I hope haha
