Default Steering Wheel - Easy Exit

Is the 'easy exit' function (or whatever it's called), where the steering wheel automatically tilts up when turning the engine off, customizable to NOT do that? It's annoying to me and I'd like to stop it, if possible.

Thanks,
-Tony

I don't think so. I believe it's standard on the LS's and GSs

Maybe dig inside see if you can unplug the motor?

It doesn't annoy me much. When I get into the car I almost start the car immediately and than do everything else like release leg brake/buckle/put gear in Drive. By the time I done all that, the steering wheel got to where it needed.

The only time it annoys me is when I only want to listen to radio or do some other adjustments without driving. I want room to move around.

Well, the main reason is that I don't care for the feature. I think it's just another wear/tear item that I don't want to worry about.

on the 2gs, i know it was a programmable feature and you can disable it. on the 3gs i am not sure, but i hope at least they retain the feature!

Yes, you get that changed. It is apart of the LPS feature that the dealer tech can fix for you. Just bring it in and ask to have that feature turned off.

Mine doesn't tilt up or down. It stays the same position. Is something wrong here?
