Default Purchased 01’ UL 80k miles

New to the forum. Bought an 01 430 UL with 80k miles. One owner with maintenance records. Always maintained at a Lexus dealer. Garage kept, and car looks amazing for being 18 years old. Paid $7,950 pre-tax. I love the car and have already put 2,000 miles on it.

Perfect mileage! Congrats!

I would look into a tranny drain/fill, although 2001 has a dipstick so maybe DIY....

Default Very soon!!

Finally, after an incredibly long delay my 05 UL in Mercury Metallic and Ercu is on the truck heading West. I expect it to be here in a few more days. Mine has 106 K on it, Lexus serviced every 5 K since brand spankin new. I think they just checked every box on the options list, It's a UL with PCS and the semi Aniline leather. Shame that groovy back seat stuff will not be used much. When my wife is with I'm afraid to show her the cool toys in the back, I'll get lonely driving.

I'm like a kid on Christmas eve. I bought the flippin car before Christmas. Part of the long delay has been the lovely weather this year.

At any rate I shall be posting pics soon.

the semi aniline leather is amazing. My car has 185000 miles and the black leather still looks new, although it was well taken care of.

Smile Finally arrived

It finally showed up yesterday. Wow, it was sure dirty coming all the way across the country in January. Driver said the weather was no fun at all.
I'll post up some pics this weekend. The car is outstanding. Interior is perfect, exterior has a couple tiny scratches, a very small dent in top edge of trunk lid, and the chrome wheels are pretty tired. On the plus side it has brand new Michelin Primacy tires, new pads and Lexus rotors. Everything works perfectly, no slow windows. 3 smart keys included. The owners manuals are all there with the exception of the big thick book which of course is the main one. I'll get Lexus to send me one, and I have the PDF. I've only driven it about 50 miles so far. I'll get a couple hundred in today. My back felt great after the 50 mile jaunt, that's a good sign.
Thanks for all the help here on CL, I bought a Really nice car and appreciate the help!
