My apologizes if I offended anyone with my technical approach. I am a retired Aerospace Engineer after 40 years of gas turbine experience in the SR-71 Blackhawk spy plane and B-2 Stealth Bomber, amongst other various aircraft programs.
My suggestion is that every individual choose what they really like. Don't try to justify your decision on parameters that you can't justify. Not necesarry. Everyone is entitled to choose what they like and what they don't like. Just don't try to justify you decision based on falsehoods. Our politicians have ownership in that area. Don't stoop to that level and stick with facts that you know. No apologizes necessary for not knowing everything about everything. Enjoy life and let others enjoy their life.
You have not offended anyone I would rather you share what you know with us instead of keeping it to yourself. I am always down to learn lol
So the only way to actually see if it work is to put it in a wind tunnel? I looked and to rent one is $550 an hour, do you think that it would be possible to achieve the desired results bn with some reading math and r&d?

See my post#5. Don't waste your time and money on trying to test a rear diffuser.
Sorry, but I didn't see any "test data" in the referenced web site. Just vague presentations of a computer program attempting to analyze airflow in a virtual wind tunnel with simplifications that avoid much of reality. No proof of actual test data to verify their results. Difficult to understand what they are trying to prove, as their drag curves show no change from the production model. That mean that the "diffuser" is having no effect in increasing the rear static pressure and is not working as a true diffuser. They seem to be trying to show that there is a change in downward force on the vehicle, but that is not the purpose of a diffuser.
I'm afraid I'm too ignorant to understand what they are trying to sell.
I won't waste my energy with a reply since you've got it all figured out.
This thread took a turn which is not that common ….. (for this car....)
Just my general opinion, but rarely are there any aftermarket bolt on's for a mass produced passenger car that will improve handling or ground effects. These are purely aesthetics and each owner selects what looks good to them. Believing these will add to handling or road stability are prejudice in nature and have yet to see any evidence for a street car.
If you find an aftermarket rear diffuser that fits and looks good to you then go for it....
Yah but the front end is all over the place at 50 during windy conditions making it kinda dangerous to drive. The idea is to get the turbulent air to exit the rear of the car sucking it down to the road.
Also that means that any sudden disruption in the air stream stream will upset the car more than another vehicle with a different cd.
There is obviously something wrong with your car, my car feels 100% stable at 100mph even in windy condtions, both before and after ditching my factory air for BC coilovers.

Oh word so your a internet mechanic you know there is something wrong with my car so what is wrong with my car then I am all ears.
You should take it to a real mechanic and find out, alignment issues maybe? I am just saying the experience I have with my car.
Lol whats a "real mechanic"?
Also you said there is something wrong with my car without even seeing it or driving it so you know something I dont so please share what is wrong with my car?
I do all my own work to my cars I am more than capable of knowing when there is something wrong with my car I do not need to take it to a "real mechanic".

Someone who is a qualified technician and is trained and works on these cars everyday.
You said you are experiencing problems that I am not having on my car, so I am assuming there is something wrong with your car. Maybe I am wrong in doing so.
Maybe you are overlooking something since you are not a certified technician.
