Been driving a lot lately and I have seen a c350 amg and also perhaps a fake c63s amg? If it is fake, what kind of car is it? Guy was revving his engine wanting to race. The width of the rear was not that wide and the car itself didn't look special. The c63s amg's rear looks wider in youtube videos?
Very possible it's an AMG line (like an F-sport). There's a C300 coupe AMG at my work that looks spot on like a C43 AMG but the exhaust does not have a split inside the tips which I believe was the only way I can tell it's a fake.
Not sure if the C300 sedan can look just like the C63 after an AMG line package the same way. I mean he revved it, I'm sure a C63 would've been noticeably loud?
Most likely a posseur. More like an AMG "Sport" as in "F Sport".
Two possible ways to confirm:
1. Race him to validate.
2. Pop the hood look for the famous signature plate with the MASTER who built the engine. I have a true AMG and there is a signature plate. Mine is an older AMG. Back then, a requirement for AMG was a V8. NOWADAYS, even a 4 banger is labeled as an AMG. The AMG brand is diluted and nothing special nowadays.

Didn't sound like a v8 and we were both at the red stop side to side. His engine was very quiet so was wondering what kind of car it was that he put the badges on.
Definitely, it is a C43 AMG. Tires also look too narrow to be on C63. I see these quite a lot where I live. 362 HP from turbo V6, I believe. I have heard one driver gunning it and it sounded like a traditional V6 noise. Nothing loud or distinctive.

If you don't immediately hear a loud V8 its definitely not a 63 ahaha. it could be a C43 AMG, which is considerably quieter. You can tell from the exhaust tips having 4 cutouts, the regular C300's and early C400's just have 2 and it looks like a diamond.
