Replacement car battery?

Again, my perspective is different because I keep 2 batteries on Battery tenders (1.5A and 3A), for the purpose of if the power goes out I have inverters. They are unable to start a vehicle, not enough power. They were fine when they came out of the vehicles (proactively swapped). I googled and others have had the same experience. So why bother? My BMW has sat in the garage for 6+ mos undriven, and fired right up. I am thinking that Battery Tender pulled a K&N (or a Brita).
Anyway my Costco is coming up on 34 months and no issues. I'm ok with paying another $90 when it's time. jmo no need to go overboard, remember in the 90's how cool it was to have an optima mounted upside down, like it was status?

I'm currently using a Bosch S6 AGM Flat Plate. Very good battery and it was free. I purchased for another vehicle Amazon listed as the right size. It was not and Amazon said keep it and refunded my money. Fits perfect in my SC.
Believe it or not the Everstart Maxx sold at Walmart has a very good rating from Consumer Reports. Many good batteries out there.

Here in Florida I change my car's battery every 3 years regardless if it needs it or not. My last replacement was Walmart's Everstart Maxx 750CCA with 3 year free replacement. I'm sure my battery will start losing voltage before the 3 year mark and I'll return it for a new battery. Currently the battery is $95, but as time goes by expect all batteries to be over $100+. It's expensive to live these days!
Nobody ever wants to do this if it's a GM, BMW, or any other forum. But if you load test the battery you will know what it's got. I know the Costco I put in my wife's GM tested at like 960 CCA way above its rating. Because it was like 70F. Test any battery 3 y.o. and it's sure to be well below what it's rated for. At the same time, what does it matter, it's to start the vehicle? As mentioned my aunt got a 2006 BMW in July 2005. She ended up replacing the factory battery after about 11 years on the road, in 2016. What would have been accomplished if she did it every 3? The numbers would look good on a tester. We love to throw things away whether they are bad or not because we can. Guess the joke was on us with Michelin Premiers, I have yet to see anyone throw it out at 20k because it looks worn.
