Default Beeps coming from control panel

After searching and searching I feel like maybe only one person has had this problem with no answer to their thread. I am hoping someone can help. As im driving my car keeps beeping two times about every 3 minutes. It is the same beep sound that you hear when you push the map, ac, audio or option button however I am not pushing any buttons. Sometimes when I hear the beeps those buttons will not work, meaning I will hit climate when looking at the map and my climate control will not pop up. This just started happening and I am hoping it is an easy fix or reset.

Sounds to me like one of those buttons is sticking. Try pressing every single one of the buttons around the navigation and see if anything feels like it doesn't clearly depress and return

Hello,
thank you for that as I did not think to check that, however I did just go check and none of them appear to be stuck or sticking. Also I forgot to mention, the one thread I could find where someone had the same issue with no replies, he mentioned that when he turns his steering wheel to the left or right the buttons will begin to work. I went to try this and mine is doing the same.

Just wild &^% guessing but your intermittent button failure may be related to a clock spring failure in the steering column. Search "clockspring" and you will find some info from previous posts.

Thank you for that. That actually make sense. I will look into it. My bushings in my steering column seem to be going out too, for the second time now, and that could be the cause. Thank you!

I have a quick beeping sound problem, but I only notice it when the stereo is on while I’m driving. It beeps probably 2 times per minute.

You can use a techstream to disable the beeps on button press. I know that doesn't solve your root problem but it will make it less annoying at least.

thank you. my beeping problem is now fixed. Like I said before, my tires were inflated to about 33 psi. Yesterday I filled them up to 38 psi, and now there is no more beeping. Yay

If the beeps were because of the low tyre pressure warning, then what you actually need to do is to set the tyres to the correct pressure (38psi is very high) and then press and hold the Tyre Pressure reset button in the drivers footwell next to the SmartKey enable/disable switch.
Once that is reset it will learn the new pressures over the next 60 miles.
I can't think of anything else that would cause a beep to stop by increasing the tyre pressure.
