Time for New Tires
It's time to replace my Michelin Premiers after about 40,000 miles. I am interested in comfort, safety and quiet. Since I use winter tires, the snow and ice performance is not as important.
I like Michelin but the Cross Climate and Defender don't appeal to me even though they are good tires. I'm looking at the Continental Pure Contact LS, BF Goodrich Comfort Tread and am very open to suggestions. Thanks.

Michelin MXM4. Cushy ride & quiet.
Worth the money,
no regrets whatsoever.
Wait for a sale @ Costco.
You may have to order them,
but that’s OK.
(Costco provides free rotation &
balance for life of tire. I think
road hazard is also included)
Good Luck.

I recently purchased a set of 17” Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrack. The ride is soft (car has air suspension) and they are quiet unless I drive on rough pavement. (This will be the case with any tire IMO) We drove from Massachusetts to Ohio and averaged 29.7mpg. On another trip into the White mountains of New Hampshire with 4 passengers I still averaged 26 mpg. So millage is a big plus with these tires.
