Default Help - Trunk lid doesn't close flush

So when my trunk lid closes, it doesn't sit flush on one side. The other side seats flush, and the trunk lid itself is actually able to close and open with little effort. It's not just a "little off" either, it is very noticeable. Given the car had been in an accident before, I'm thinking of buying new hinges, since I replaced the aftermarket shocks with OEM ones to try my luck. But before I do that, is there any way I can adjust it? I stared at it for a while but can't come up with anything. Hope a second opinion can help.

Note I am able to push that corner downwards, and I can see the hinge move with the lid on the downward motion, but it does return to the original position. At least I know it's not stuck.
