Again, this is subjective.....when I first got the car I had that sensation, as did my wife. I thought it would be cured by replacing the LCA bushings, and it was not. I feel it's the way the car behaves, but I know some others don't agree. Personally, I think that when you are able to drive other cars, then you have something to compare with...I feel the LS is "divey...."

Ditto with the car taking ms longer to start than many cars--the way I look at it, is if a thread exists already about the topic, then it does exist as others have noted the same thing...my .02....

I did several transmission drain and fills. This helped smooth Park to Drive shifts. Not as bad as yours tho. Good luck.

Replacing your transmission mount can do wonders for this. Lexus calls it a "Rear" engine mounting insulator - 1237150170 - about $85 from Lexus of S Atlanta.

Very easy to replace yourself. The torque specs are lower than you would think, I don't remember them exactly, maybe someone else can chime in....
Aftermarket mounts are available if you want to save a little $$$ but I would stick with Lexus/Toyota.

Interesting this is the piece I have not bought yet, I had seen it for $64 shipped....suddenly it shot up to $89....now I see $73. I'm planning on having that and the motor mounts replaced at some point due to age. Indie said they look fine when the car was on the lift (indies seem to not be interested in replacing for the sake of replacing). Dealer of course said they recommend replacement and it was like $1800. lol 2006 and 88k at the time...

The trans mount is relatively inexpensive and very easy to do. It alone may solve the issue. If not look into the 2 motor mounts just be aware they are much more labor intensive.
