When I push MENU button the top 4 choices do not light up so I can not choose any of them. I am trying to delete addresses but cannot push edit route.. Any simple answer

 

Nearly all the nav associated functions are unable to be selected (grayed out) when the vehicle is moving. If you're trying to manipulate nav items while moving, you need to be stopped. How's that for simple?

 

That is simple .but I am trying to do this while the car is parked
2003 with UL package
Millennium Silver {never gets dirty]
2010 RX450H
Black {Always Dirty]
2007 GS350
Black [Always looks dirty]

 

There is a way to override the nav system, only con is that you'll have to do it every time you start the car up, but it allows you to use all abilities of the nav while moving. It also doesnt hurt the nav system since its a hush-hush thing that you're not supposed to know.
So depending on what year your LS is, here's one for the 2001, 2002-2003, and a video for the

2004-2006

models.

So, although Acura may have found the only thing to top the LS nav system control nanny. But, I see more LS's than RL's.

 

All I am asking is when u push menu do all 8 highlight so u can push any of the 8 icons to go further into the menu. Only the bottom 4 highlight in my car. The top 4 do not highlight. Can some one tell me if this happens in your car.Turn your car on push menu do 4 0r 8 highlight

I have not been on this sight for a few years but I guess it must be a lot of new people who do not answer or do not know to much.

 

I have an 2002 and I only get the bottom 4 as well.

What year is your car? What 8 choices do you get? I just went out and checked snd mine is exactly like in the above video.

mine does not look like that I have 2 across 4down 8 total I would put a picture but I do no know how.

 

Save pic to your desktop then click post reply or go advanced next to the post quick reply. Go down to the bottom of the reply page and click on manage attachments.

I think you need to i input a route first then those should light up. If a destination has not been set then there's no need for those settings. Just a guess though. To delete addresses I think you just need to hit the destination button and go into previous destinations or delete the home address.
