No wonder I couldn't understand your post. I was comparing to my 2005.

Is there a Menu>My Places>Delete? or.....
Menu>Setup>Scroll to Previous Point>Delete All

Your 2003 has the GEN2/3 Nav version, while my 2005 and all 2004-2006 have the Gen4 version.

Can you find a menu screen where you need to enter a passcode, like a log in screen? On the Gen4's, I believe to delete previous entries and favorites and history, you need to enter a passcode for the user. There's User1 and User2. I think you need to go there if you want to delete "favorite" places.

Do you have the Nav book for the system? If all else fails and you have it, you could read the book!

I also found this video....

I posted on Post #16 a page from the Owner's Manuals. It describes a 5 steps procedure:
1. Push "MENU" button to display the MENU screen,
2. Touch the "Marked points" button on the screen,
3. Touch the "Del.prev.dest." button on the screen,
4. Touch the "Delete all" button on the screen,
5. Touch the "Yes" button on the screen to confirm.

The OP figured out a way to delete all previous destinations in one whack. Definitely a useful knowledge to have - please share!!!

you are right about the top 4 not highlighting u need a destination.

Put in 2 new destinations and I can get to them but all the old destination are still in there. So still can not delete all the old owners addresses.

Alright, looked everywhere and this navigation over ride DOES NOT work in my 2004 LS430 UL with the latest Nav update.

I don't see what the nav update would have to do it and I don't believe it does.

The dealer would still want access.

What the deuce

and I'll post somewhere else about "simple mode" and getting rid of the dogone nag screen with my Vasi tech bluetooth.
