Puddle lights.
I hit the search bar and nothing came up. I know it's a common mod in a GS wondering if anyone knows of hand how much work it is to put them in yourselves and where to order the exterior puddle lights?

do yours not work? I have seen mods where the puddle lights are replaced with lights that shine LEXUS on the ground. I would rather have turn signals on my mirrors than fancy puddle lights, but both are available I believe. I bet yours are fine, you just need a smart key to use them. with my valet key they do not turn on until I unlock the door. smart key they turn on when I get close to the car, before I unlock.

I will be following this thread. I have been trying to get DIY info on this since I bought my first LS 9 years ago. Nobody ever answered my threads on how to do this. I have since gotten a new LS 430 and now a 460 and I would like to do this as well and sync them with the mirror puddle lights or dome light in car. so they go on and off when you unlock or open the door and go out when you lock the door.
