05 ls 430 NAVI 1/2 WORKING PLEASE HELP
Hello ,Just returned from a nice trip form Niagara falls to Chicago, wouldn't drive another car (Beautiful) Anyways the car sat for about a week (rained everyday ) Started it up Sunday and screen reads External system not connected (everything worked fine before) a/c,heat, audio functions work on the screen but no Navi or Bluetooth . I went into the truck tried hitting the eject button (car running) Nothing , would not come out and I don't hear anything, no sound of a disc spinning!! I check all connections in the back and they secure . Does Anybody know what is going on here please??

did yours start working later after it dried out? I checked the compartment where the unit sits and it is all dry , I cant figure out why it wont come on , I was trying to disconnect the power on the back of it hoping that will reboot it but I cant get my hand back there to push on the clip and pull the plug out , Damm I miss my Bluetooth

wow I hope you didn't pay too much , im going to get another I pulled out the old one and it looks fine I don't know why it doesn't work , is there a fuse for this thing ? also if I get another one how can I get the old disk out of the old one ?

Assuming the disc is not up to date anyway, if you do need a disk, just look for a Toyota GEN 4 dvd, they're about $13. That's what I just put in yesterday, and it's fine....said something like U30 (I did not think to take a pic of my disc)...

350.00, I bought an warranty but have to wait 30days before I can file a claim. What really sucks is that if you remove the unit the reverse camera doesn't work. I will be putting back the original when I send the new one off to be repaired.
