Hi, I connected Techstream to my 2004 LS430 (Australian), and configured many useful options. However not all options are available in my car. For example I wanted to get the car auto locked after starting the drive which is not available. DRL is not available. Is it the issue with the Techstream version, or the car (ECU firmware) sold in Australia? If it is the firmware, is there an option to get a firmware update? Thanks
Did you end up doing it by adjusting the year of the car in the program? i have a 2001 Celsior and am trying to disable the DRL's as they are the HID's

anyone have any luck?
Option to customise DRL did not show up even after trying to change the car year and trying out different version of TS. Gave up at the end. DRL is not on by default in my LS430.
I fitted an aftermarket LED DRL which has a control unit that keeps it on with ACC and off when headlights switch on. Looks cool.
Hello,
Any idea why techstream won't let me customize in my LS460's? I was running version 15 on windows 10 laptop then loaded techstream version 10 and still wouldn't access this menu.

alright so I took my laptop to a local computer guy who is said he can load windows xp on it. So if that doesn't work, he has an old lap top I am going to buy with XP. I WILL CONQUER!!!
I have TechStream v12 running on a Win10 laptop and it all works fine.
Some regions have different options available and what is available does depend on where your car was sold.
I'm in the UK and mine doesn't have the DRL setting either but it doesn't bother me as my experience of riding a motorcycle fitted with 5 forward facing daytime running lights tells me that you can have as many lights as you like and it won't make one jot of difference.
For the morons to see you, first they have to actually bloody look. <sigh>
From the TechStream sheet that I have (attached) the DRL FUNCTION is "USA Only".
