I did research on disabling the Daytime Running Lights. But did not find a way and all the posts are too old.
The solutions I found were,
1. LPS, dealer software to turn the feature off.
But my dealer here won't do it.
2. Disconnect one of the high beam so the series wired DRL would not work but one High Beam works.
I will be going with this If i don't find any other options.
3. I saw a post for RX300 where they rewire the relays and disconnect the DRL.
but I couldn't find a wiring diagram for the LS430 to check if this would work.
If the dealer can do it, will the Techstream be able to do it ?
Can anyone please help me with a Solution for this.
I want to disable this as the High beams i am using flickers when in DRL. All these years and I hope someone here would have a way to solve this.
You should invest in a TechStream TIS kit, which will allow you to make all sorts of customized setings for the LS430. Check out the link below for more details... https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...ini-works.html
Here is a sample of what you can do with the TechStream on the LS430 lighting system (including DRL function).
I did mine with TS. Cost $30 for the cable and software. If you get TS to play with, make sure you run it on a junk laptop without network capability... A lot of the copies have Trojans on them.
+1 on the Techstream. I bought mine several years ago running on a 10 year old Windows XP laptop with a screen hanging by a thread. The only thing I use it for is the rare occasions I fire up TS.
