Default LS430 Auto leveling motor reinsert

My 2003 LS430 while replaced the headlamp bulbs. I for want ever reason took out the auto leveling motor. Know when I reinsert it I can't get the little ball arm inserted into groove inside the headlight. Any help would be appreciated.

So nothing on this, I'm really stuck can't figure out how to get the little ball head back into the slotted groove. Sure dealer would do it for a cost but at $100+ an hour I may live with it. But really frustrating since other side still auto levels on startup.

Take better pictures, I'll be able to help. I've taken these headlights lots before. Just need to see what we're dealing with in the inside of the housing where the ball would usually just snap in place with a certain angle.

Ok I will pull it out tomorrow wasn't sure if you'd (someone) would know off-hand. Yeah I am beginning to believe something may be messed up. But thanks for the reply and hopefully we can figure it out.

This black circular **** looking piece slides into the connector from the side parallel to the black mounting on the projector, and it snaps in.

If the black mounting plastic piece seems too far for it to reach, that means your projector is not aligned correctly. Try releasing the other side that is holding the projector's bowl and remove it. Then put it back again but start by snapping the **** in the mount first and THEN connect the other side.

Let us know how it goes
