Unhappy Ls430 retofit adjustment question

I am looking to swap in oem hid headlights with auto leveling into a non auto leveling car. I know that when the car is turned off the beams point down, since my car does not have the auto level (hence bringing the projectors to correct height) how can I adjust the projectors to point straight forward with out the auto leveling? I know on my car there are gears to adjust height but what about the ls430/gs w/ oem hids....I guess a better way to put this is, if your factory auto level went out, how did you manually correct this? thanks in advance

What's up Sean! You finally getting some retros ?

I'm pretty sure you can adjust the lights manually still. Just don't plug in the connector for the auto leveling motor.

Yup, just aim them with the factory adjustments like you normally would. The auto leveling just compensates if the back of the car is weighted down by aiming the lights a little lower than normal.
